So this is what I have been up to....

Study, study, study! So far I have studied Music and Fine Art at the Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts and Music, a post grauduate diploma in Musioc Education at the Univeristy of Melbourne and I am about to commence a Master of Philosophy in Music at The Australian National University which I am incredibly excited about.

The last couple of years have been amazing. I have performed with some of Australia's finest including James Morrison, Renee Geyer, Kate Ceberano, Jon Stevens and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Don Burrows, Alex Pertout, Joe Geia, Bob Sedergreen, Tom E. Lewis, Glenn Shorrock, Daryl Braithwaite, Shane Howard, John Paul Young, Grace Knight, Guy Sebastian, Gary Pinto, Wendy Matthews, Paul Potts (Britiain's Got Talent), Nick Lachy (USA), Kutcha Edwards, 80's icon Kim Wilde (UK)and Stevie Wright among others. I have also been a resident vocalist/arranger for the 7 and 9 Networks, on shows such as Singing Bee, Australia's Got Talent, It Takes Two, Carols By Candelight, The Footy Show, Canal Road .

I have been also invited to sing the Australian National Anthem for various sporting telecasts including the Boxing Day Test Match and the One Day Series Cricket also for the Australian of the Year Awards.

While my exciting performance and composition experiences have been very rewarding, insightful and exhilarating, I have also been enjoying teaching. I have been lecturing at the Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts and Muisc in voice and I direct the vocal ensemble: Coro. I have also been teaching voice in High School and directing contemporary vocal ensembles.

Right now Alex Pertout and I have been pouring our love and energy in to our debut release. It features original and collaborative pieces, also repertoire from Latin Jazz, Soul and World Music traditions. I guess you could say it is quite eclectic. It's not too far away and we can hardly contain our excitment. I will keep you posted!
